Wanted to share this with everyone. Every morning I wake up , get coffee then log into a few websites. After that I say good morning to all my Skype friends and groups.

Then at 10:00 am est I go on to The Morning Motivator. My friend Mentor and Moderator of TMM is on vacation this week. So Tamra Trowbridge has taken the reins and everyone was asked to pick a day and speak about how TMM has changes there life. Today it was my turn and this is what I said. 

” Good Morning everyone! First I like to give you a little back ground on myself.

I grew up in the small town of Pawling N.Y.
I have not always been what some might call a politically correct person. I am a more of down to earth person. I call them as I see them . Some times this was not always the right thing to do. I acted on impulse instead of thinking things through before I opened my mouth. Sometimes I still do. This never got me in to much trouble through the years, although I always knew I was different.
I was also a bit of a tom boy! Not to feminine. Heck I even owned a whole set of Hot wheels and had a mini bike. Oh I miss those days! I have been through so much over the years, way to much to tell here on today’s call.

My journey started on the internet in the late 80′s.
Looking for a better way of life. I meet a Ton of people, I didn’t even know throughout the years. Really nice people to.
Through this journey I would get aggravated trying to learn new things as things kept changing on the internet, as they still do. I would leave for a while and then come back again. This went on for a long time.

Until……About 7 or 8 years ago , A good friend of mine sent me a book..It is called The Secret by Rhonda Burns.
As a matter of fact he is in this room right now.
Thank You with big hugs to you Thomas … because I believe
this was a Huge turning point for me.
This was the first time I was introduced to The Law of attraction.

After being off and on the internet since the late 80′s , around 2 or 3 years ago
I meet Janet and was introduced to The Morning Motivator.
When I first came to this group, I thought wow.. these people had lost there minds!
But I stayed…because I knew there was something here for me.
Something I did not fully understand yet. Janet voice was so soothing and relaxing to me
when she was reading, almost like a mother reading to her child.
Everyone was reading Ask and it is given. They were almost done with the book.
Soon they were moving onto The Vortex.
The Vortex is what pulled me in to stay (No pun intended). Things became clearer for me.
I started to understand why I was here.
One day I went to buy a new decoration for the house.
I was leaning towards a lava lamp. When I went to look and see what they had
Low and behold was one called THE Vortex.
I just knew the universe was calling to me and this was the one for me.
Kind of weird but I knew I was being directed.
Things just started to fall into place for me. Like
In one of our meditation sessions..
I had a vision…It was of me and my father.. I was much younger.
I forgot what we were doing in this vision. Should have written it down. It was so overwhelming and so unexpected.
It seemed so real, like I could reach out and touch him. I was always close to my father,
so It was an experience I will always treasure.

When I come to TMM I get that same feeling… of Love, joy and tranquility.
Like I am safe and surrounded by friends. Because I know I am!
I have learned some valuable lessons since meeting Janet and coming to TMM. Like
Think before I speak, flush it away, think good thoughts, don’t sweat the small stuff,
get in your Vortex and be happy. The most valuable thing I have
learned is you can have a new day everyday and The Great Secret of life is The law of Attraction!

Google Chrome Not Updating: Solved on Windows 8

Google Chrome Not Updating: Solved on Windows 8

Have you noticed that something is not quite right with Chrome? Yes you guess it, it is not updating. It has been several months since I have noticed Google Chrome not updating. This morning as I woke up early, it was time to investigate this issue. The only way I really knew about this was the anti- virus told me there was an issue at install level. Install level? Really? It seemed to install just fine!
I proceeded to open up Google Chrome and search all the setting in Chrome. It wasn’t until I clicked on” help” in the chrome settings area on the left hand side , that is where the issue is showing. There was an icon next to the words (something like) “ updates disabled by Administrator”. Again, Really? I am the Administrator and I did not turn this off. Time to Google, Google Chrome issue!

The search criteria “chrome updates are disabled by the administrator”. Bingo! This turned up a huge amount of results. It is amazing how many people had this same issue. It has something to do with Chrome policies and they have the wrong number in the registry key. But I won’t get into all that here. The purpose here is to tell you and show you how to solve this issue.

First thing you’ll want to do is open chrome and check the help section in settings. See if you have the “updates disabled by administrator” warning symbol. If it shows checking for updates you are fine. If you have the symbol then proceed to next step. In windows 8 (if you have a touch screen and your on the desktop,not the app area) swipe your finger left on the right hand side of the screen to bring up search. Type “regedit” in the search criteria, hit enter. Click on the regedit icon when it comes up. If you do not have a touch screen you can get to the regedit file from the desktop by clicking the files folder on the bottom of your screen. Scroll down till you see Your Computer “C:” The high light it by clicking. In The search area type “regedit” Should show right up.

WARNING: Please be careful in these files as you may inadvertently erase something important! (I will not be responsible for your actions).

Next from either of these locations find and open the down arrow of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. Look for Software> then Policies> Google> Update. Once you have located the correct file, click or double click on “Update Default” file. A box will pop up. If your number in the box is 0, that will need to be changed to 1. Click “OK” then restart your computer.

Once the computer restarts go back and open up Chrome. Go to The “ Help” section again under settings and check to make sure your now getting updates. This should have solved the problem of not getting updates. For Further instructional information: see Video Below.

If you have been on the internet for a while, maybe you have noticed that not to long ago Traffic Exchanges had faded out and not used or promoted very often. Traffic exchanges are making a comeback in a huge way and new ones seems to be popping up everyday. Some of them even have games to play while surfing. Traffic Exchanges live!

Recently I decided to experimented with different traffic exchanges and compare them to see what results were obtained. If nothing else, I would have done some advertising for free. After all isn’t that what this is all about, getting some “free” advertising?

Now the secret with traffic exchanges is that you need to sign up for a few and promote the traffic exchanges so that you build a down line. You will earn credits off your down line and get traffic even if you are not surfing. If one of your down line referrals purchase a credit package, most traffic exchanges will give a commission. Percentages of commissions vary from site to site, depending on what upgraded level or credit package you have purchased. Lifetime members generally get more of a commission than free members. Most traffic exchanges will have specials from time to time on lifetime memberships. It is to your advantage to purchase a lifetime membership when available.

Sometimes circumstances do not allow us to purchase a package of credits or a membership. If You find yourself in this category there is an alternative to advertising on traffic exchanges. You can surf the traffic exchanges in order to to get the credits needed to advertise your website or product. You can also surf multiple exchanges at the same time. The way this works is that you sign up for ten traffic exchanges. You need to also install a browser that uses tabbed browsing like Firefox. Then you open up ten tabs at the same time browsing each traffic exchange simultaneously in the same amount of time as what it would have taken to surf one website.

Before you can surf at all, You will need to log into your new exchange accounts and add your website. In order to add credits to your website most exchanges will want you to auto assign a certain percentage of your credits. You will add your site, then go to auto assign. Assign the amount of credits needed then go back to add sites to add credits to the website you want to advertise. Free Credits also vary from site to site. For Example PG Traffic gives a Free member 100 Credits and 100 Banner credits to use per month. While Millionaire Surf gives 200 Credits plus 50 banner credits. If you received no credits on sign up, then you will either need to purchase a credit package or surf for credits.

When adding your site do not make the fatal mistake of just putting in the URL of your website, or affiliate link. Believe me, you really DO NOT want to do that! Why? Because your fellow surfers will not have the time, or take the time, to read a whole website about an offer. They are surfing for credits so that they can advertise their own program, and only if your product leaps up and hits them in the face will they take any notice. In order to grab their attention you MUST use splash pages or squeeze pages that open a new window when clicked. There is a difference between a splash page and a squeeze page. A splash page is usually quite small in size – so it loads fast. It has a heading, perhaps a graphic or two and a ‘Click Here’ button or similar that will lead to your website or product offer. A squeeze page is very similar, but has an opt-in box as well to help you build your list. One of the better programs that I use to make squeeze pages and splash pages is Adkreator. It is very inexpensive to use and has many choices of styles and colors.

Ideally you would advertise a splash page which then opens to a squeeze or opt-in page which can be of any length, but which asks for the reader’s details. Using the splash page to squeeze page system is less likely to interrupt the surfer and therefore make them more likely to follow-through with your offer after they have completed there surfing. There’s nothing to stop you having as many splash pages as your membership allows and each one can lead to exactly the same offer page.

In addition, be sure to make use of the banner and text ads area which will be part of your membership. Together with your splash pages they will drive as many people as possible to your product or service. There’s a whole lot more to using traffic exchanges but used properly they are an extremely valuable tool at minimal cost for any online business.

This weekend my husband and I went to Olive Garden. We had the best meal there. Really enjoyed the time spent there. The waitress was very pleasant and surprisingly kept up with everything she needed to do, it was extremely busy there. I can only imagine that it was so busy because the 2 for $25.00 is back. For $25.00 you get either soup or all you can eat salad (which incidentally comes with the meals anyway). You get to pick two entree's and either two appetizers or a dessert. We choose the salad, and appetizers. Of course he wanted to have the Calamari (which I will not eat), so I had the Bruchetta. Yes both came together on one plate! They were extremely good size portions also.
when the meal came it was almost overwhelming to see all that food that still needed to be eaten. I ordered the "Five Cheese Ziti al Forno" hubby had ordered the "Spicy Shrimp Vesuvio". Both meals were excellent! As you can see by the pictures the food was very tasty and pleasing to the eye also.

After all this food I was not hungry for about 24 hours. And they asked if we wanted dessert!

The Lies of ‘Security’

Security isn’t secure. So many seek after it, but the reality of security is a lie created to strip away the creative nature of man, and take the beautiful round or octagon peg that you are and viciously force you into a square hole. Usually that square hole is a tiny cubicle… …which comes fully equip with a fancy pencil sharpener, an annoying coworker, a short lunch, and a smug boss that takes morbid pleasure in tormenting you… …daily.

However, there is ‘light at the end of the tunnel.’

There is a promises of a far off retirement where you can drive a motorhome around the country, when you are barely old enough to see, so that you can visit your grand-kids. It’s a pretty shitty light to begin with, that usually flickers and dies before it ever burns. Reality sets in when that dream isn’t realized, and rather that having the promised security, you salivate veraciously over the mailbox on the day that the postman drops off the social security check… …and that isn’t even enough to cover the bills.

Enslaving the Masses

Yes, the system is broken. It’s common knowledge that before the industrial revolution, about 90% of Americans owned their own business. Everyone else was more or less an apprentice, training to someday open up shop for themselves. The development of big corporations developed the need for ‘j-o-b-s.’ (a horrible 4 letter word in my opinion, and I happen to be a fan of most of them) School systems turned from developing creativity, to a systematic brain-wash that programmed you for life in a corporate jungle.

Breaking Ground

In the mid 1900?s, leaders within the direct selling industry developed systems to help people dream again. These systems allowed people to work part time, and earn big money from home, so they could get out of the ‘slavery model’ that had been so fiendishly implemented. Things got better for a lot of people. Unfortunately, evil popped its ugly head and managed to work the corporate bullshit into an industry that was developed to give people back the ‘American Dream.’ Companies sued reps because either themselves or their spouse decided to promote another product. Distributors would create a big team, and a large check, and then have it frozen because someone in corporate didn’t like their style of marketing. Distributors were told to do things that didn’t work, so gurus could make more money. It stopped being about the people; instead it was a league of vampires sucking people dry so they could bathe in blood, and toast from their golden goblets.

Rise of the Vampires

To make it worse, a lot of the Vampires jumped from launch to launch dragging the unsuspecting human sheep to the slaughter. This created a lot of big debt for the little guy, and a lot of big paydays for the Vampires. The average person could never make money like this. You see, it takes a VERY large team in a model like this to make money. The commissions are super weenie: usually about 20% of sales on the front end, and 2-10% of sales on the back-end. It is possible to make good money in this model, but you have to be a superhero. You constantly have to battle ‘Vampire Gurus,’ that are hopping from deal to deal, from stealing your flock and sucking the life out of them. Virtually 100% of your effort is spent battling attrition. I could deliver hard numbers for this, but anyone that has been around the industry knows and feels the truth of my words. You can vividly remember a time when you witnessed the slaughter firsthand.

These original business models were revolutionary, but the rise of technology opened a new window that completely changed the game. The dawn of the internet made it possible to move away from the overhead associated with tangible products, and gave rise to ‘info products.’ A lot of companies took advantage of this and decided to make bigger profits, and continue to pay wussy commissions back to the reps.
